This week has remarkably been a political one so far as it saw lots of political activities. There was the Electoral Commission's rebranding, Madam Attivor's comments as well as President John Dramani Mahama's "Accounting to the People" tour.

There was also a spill over from Sunday's news about a Catholic Church in Cape Coast banning provocative dresses in the church.
The Ghana Meteorological Agency confirmed that the excessively hot weather was as a result of a heat wave and would last until May.
The Chief Forecaster at the Agency, Kafui Quarshiegah said it was because the sun had just crossed the equator and is directly on the earth’s surface.
On Tuesday, in spite of the intense public criticism, the Electoral Commission unveiled its new and controversial logo.
The Commissioner, Charlotte Osei said they saw the logo, they liked it and they picked it. She dared the Turkish institution which has a similar logo to challenge the EC in court.

The EC boss also said she did not know the cost involved in the acquisition of the new logo and the website.
Also on Tuesday, the Former Transport Minister, Dzifa Attivor urged Voltarians to vote massively to maintain the NDC government in power as she feared being jailed if NPP comes to power.

On Wednesday, Former President Jerry John Rawlings condemned the ethnocentric comments by Dzifa Attivor and defended NPP's 2016 Flagbearer, Nana Akufo-Addo.
Some unemployed nurses and midwives took to the streets of Accra, Wednesday, to protest the delay by the Health Ministry in posting them.

The much anticipated Limited Voter's Registration exercise began across the country on a low turnout note on Thursday as rain disrupted the exercise in some centres.
Also, some students of the UPSA confessed to grade changing practice in the school.
Thursday was also a bloody one as a 34-year-old man beheaded his son and committed suicide.
On Friday, the Limited Voters Registration exercise began to pick up as hundreds queued at a centre on Legon campus and some other centres to register.
Also, the EC confirmed that there only 31 persons were affected by date error in the Limited Voters Registration exercise.
