Government has terminated the appointment of the Director for the Information Service Department, Nii Adjiri Barnor.
The decision was contained in a letter signed by the secretary to the president J. Bebako-Mensah.
The letter however suggests Mr. Barnor is to be re-assigned but does not state in what capacity. No reason was assigned for the termination of his appointment.
The decision comes as the Civil Service Council was preparing to verify allegations in a petition filed by five ISD staff demanding his removal because of his leadership style.
The staff accused him of not being a team player and failing to lay out a vision for the Information Services Department.
