It's Thursday morning, and that means only one thing around here: time for this week's Message from a Listener. And today, we've picked a brief, but brilliant one, written and sent in by Nathaniel Addrey. It's called The Master Coach.

Exodus 7:3-4 "But I will make the king stubborn and he will not listen to you, no matter how many terrifying things I do in Egypt. Then I'll bring severe punishment on Egypt and lead the tribes of my people out of the land".
I've been wondering why God would want to delay the freedom of His own people by making Pharaoh stubborn. No matter how hard Moses tried, God was intentional about His action. Plague after plague was visited upon the Egyptians, but God kept this King stubborn. Why did God keep interfering in his own "God-given" purpose to Moses, to lead the Israelites out of Egypt to the promised land of Canaan?
I hear people say God doesn't have a hand in our hardships, and that they are the projections of the devil. Well, Joseph got served a catalogue of hardships before becoming Prime Minister - just as Moses had to be refused several times in his bid to lead the Israelites out of Egypt. All these were deliberate, conscious actions of God. But why?
My friends, your failure, marriage, denial, rejection, unemployment, and misfortunes are all intentional training tactics of the Master life Coach. He is preparing you for greater glory, so He deliberately makes you see true hardship, so you can value and appreciate your glory days.
Have faith, keep pursuing and someday, the Pharaohs in your life will have no choice than to either let you out of Egypt or make you the Prime Minister.
I am not perturbed by God's training tactics because I know it's all meant for me to lift a trophy in the end.
I wish you a purposeful day
My name is Kojo Yankson, and I thank Nathaniel Addrey for inspiring the Nation.
GOOD MORNING, GHANAFO!
