Ghana and Nigeria have resolved to be shining examples in the sub-region by deepening good governance and democracy.
This was the outcome of deliberations between President Mills and his counterpart Goodluck Jonathan.
President Mills was in Nigeria for a day’s state visit.
Communication Director at the Presidency, Koku Anyidoho told journalists on the president’s arrival that deliberations between the two leaders were fruitful.
He said they focused mainly on democracy and good governance.
He said President Mills has also promised to support his Nigerian counterpart to ensure next year’s elections in that country are successful.
