Police in Akosombo will today arraign before court three suspects who were arrested in connection with an attempted highway robbery in Juapong over the weekend.The three will face a circuit court at Odumase-Krobo on a charge of robbery and causing harm to victims.The suspects allegedly attacked passengers on a mini bus on the Juapong Nnudu highway, shooting the driver in the process.The Akosombo District Police Commander, ASP Issah Mohamed Cantona said the suspects have denied the act but until new evidence emerge, they will be held responsible for the robbery.He however said reports that the three robbers disguised themselves in police uniforms are untrue.Meanwhile the driver who was shot by the robbers has been discharged from the Ho General Hospital.
