Greater Accra Minister, Nii Armah Ashitey, will today announce a resolution of the impasse between the GPRTU and Urban Transport Project - implementers of the Bus Rapid Transit system.Six months ago, the Ghana Private Road Transport Union threatened a mass sit-down strike if concerns it raised about BRT were not addressed.The GPRTU kicked against a 100 cedi levy by the AMA for a route registration exercise.Project Communicator for the Urban Transport Project, Kwadwo Antwi told Joy News the resolution was reached by all parties.“We have found a way to work together as operators and as government,” he noted.Source: Joy News/Ghana
