A middle aged woman's body has been found in a pool of blood near Benkum Senior High School in the Eastern Region this morning.
According to an eye witness identified only as Mr. Dropenu, the woman who is a trader and is well known in the neighbourhood was found in a pool of blood this morning by residents.
Mr. Dropenu, a teacher of the school, speaking to Kojo Oppong-Nkrumah on the Super Morning Show said the woman still had her wares by her lifeless body. He said when the police got to the scene and examined the body, bullet wounds were found on the deceased.
Even though the Police have been to the scene, the body is still lying by the school at the time of filing this report.
Mr. Dropenu was however unable to tell whether residents heard gunshots or witnessed the gory incident.
