A police officer has been shot and killed in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region by unidentified gunmen suspected to be armed robbers.Police Detective Sergeant R. Akakpo was shot on his return from Kumawu where he had visited his family.Luv FM’s Ohemeng Tawiah reports that the police are tight-lipped on the shooting.The victim was shot in his BMW vehicleThe Ashanti Regional Police Commander, Patrick Timbilla is on his way to the scene.Details soon.
