There is heightening fear at Akorabo, a village near Suhum, following the reported murder of a 27-year-old man yesterday.
The deceased whose name was given as Frank Adjarlolo is said to have been shot dead by the brother of a lady he had allegedly raped the previous day.
Police are yet to confirm circumstances leading to the death of the man but the Suhum District Police Commander, DSP Anane Appiah, who confirmed the shooting incident said his men are investigating.
Meanwhile residents of the village complain the community has been invaded by juju men who engage in dubious activities there.
One of the residents who spoke to Joy News claimed coffins are carried to all manner of places for nefarious activities.
