Marcel Desailly has withdrawn from the four-man shortlisted candidates for the Black Stars coaching job.
The Ghanaian born French international who won the World Cup with France in 1998 announced his decision to pull out on Monday after a short press conference.
Desailly said he has "run out of patience" with the seemingly slow pace at which the GFA is handling the issue, reports Joy Sports’ Ridwan Ibrahim Asante.
He has however pledged his continued support for the development of football in the country.
Desailly also dismissed rumours he demanded outrageous amount from the FA as signing on fee if hired as coach of the Black Stars.
The shortlisted candidates for the Black Stars top job has therefore been reduced to three.
The FA only last week axed Turkish coach Can Vanli from an earlier five man shortlist due to false claims.
