A management member of Accra Hearts of Oak, Aziz Haruna Futah has described comments by former Chief Executive Officer of the club, Mr. Harry Zakour as uncalled for after he advocated for the disolution of the club's board of directors and management led by Mr. Fred Crentsil..
Mr Zakour has consequently called for new faces to lead the club since he believes the current CEO of the club, Mr. Fred Crentsil is not up to the Hearts CEO task.
According to Aziz Haruna, it is unfortunate for Mr. Zakour to call for the Hearts board and management to be dissolved with Fred Crentsil vacating his post as the CEO. He believes Mr. Zakour should rather call on the board which he is part of and address his worries during management meetings than putting such a statement in the public domain.
He added that, Mr. Zakour is fond of doing throwing issues into the public domain and it doesn’t come as a surprise to him since he did the same thing during the time of Nii Ayibontey (Tommy Okine) as CEO of the club and a host of other people who have been in the same position for the club.
He called on Hearts supporters not to despair since the management of the club was doing its best to restore the team back to winning ways.
