Activa International Insurance has assured Small to Medium size Enterprises (SMEs) in Ghana that the company will continue helping SMEs to mitigate losses and reduce risks they face as a result of their investment.
Deputy Managing Director of Activa, Mr. Solomon Lartey revealed this during an interview at the 3rd SME Ghana awards held at the State Banquet Hall, Accra on Wednesday, August 11, 2016.
He said he supported the view of the Deputy Minister of Trade, Murtala Mohammed Ibrahim, who called for critical support for SMEs in the country.
Mr. Lartey explained that his company shares the view that SMEs must be given the needed boost to help create employment, reduce import, reduce the pressure on the cedi against foreign currencies, especially the Dollar and also improve the country’s foreign exchange earnings.
“It is for these reasons and more that Activa International Insurance, as part of its corporate social responsibility, supported the organization of the 3rd SMEGA Awards to identify and reward SMEs who have excelled in their various sectors” he said.
Mr. Lartey concluded by saying that Activa International Insurance has introduced world class insurance products that would protect the investments of companies and individuals in Ghana and in over 40 countries across Africa.
Mr. Lartey, who expressed satisfaction at the organization of the event, presented awards to the Best SME, Home & Office Appliances category and Health Sector categories.
The Chief Operating Officer of Activa International Insurance, Mr. Yamoah also presented awards to the Best SME-Metal category.
Activa International Insurance make available to Ghanaian businesses those same world class insurance services and products that companies in the United States of America, Europe, Canada or in any advanced country would enjoy.
