Hearts of Oak Coach Paa Kwesi Fabin is counting heavily on the return of strikers Mahatma Otoo and Eric Gawu to salvage the club’s faltering league campaign.
The duo has returned to the Phobian Club after completing brief loan spells outside the Country.
Mahatma had a good loan spell at Tunisian outfit Esperance while Gawu had a fairly impressive outing for Israeli side Hapoel Ashkelon.
The two will be awaiting confirmation of their respective deals but will for now serve the former league Champions.
Coach Fabin expects a wealth of experience from the duo, saying it will be welcome news because finishing “has always been our problem. If you watch our play, we create chances and then we fluff all of them.”
Meanwhile, Mahatma Otoo has been speaking to Joy Sports’ Dennis Mirpuri about his return to Hearts of Oak.
He said while outside the country, he was following the performance of the club keenly and was disappointed things were not going well.
He promised to do his best to reverse the trend.
