The agent of Anthony Annan has confirmed holding talks with Spanish La Liga side Sevilla for a possible move in the January transfer window.
Peter Fosdahl claims the diminutive midfielder has expressed his desire to play for a big club in one of the renowned leagues.
“I was in Sevilla to speak about Annan. He is crazy about playing in a team of this status. We have seen how the club works and we love it. The climate, the city and the prestige of the club makes us think that it would be very positive for Annan to play there,” Peter Fosdahl told the Marca newspaper.
Annan was a key member of the Ghana’s World Cup team that reached the last eight.
The 24-year-old was recently voted Rosenborg’s player of the year by fans of the Norwegian champions.
