Saudi side El Ettifaq are tempting ex-Ghana captain Stephen Appiah with a 200,000 pounds-a-week offer.
Appiah signed for newly-promoted Italian Serie A side Cesena on a one-year deal with the option of another year if the club stays in the top flight.
The 29-year-old has defied talks that he is past his prime and excelled in the few games he has played for the club.
Appiah is in no rush to move to the Gulf, a league restricted for semi-retired players.
“Yes, I am aware they have shown interest. However, I have never been a player who goes after money,” Appiah stressed.
“The offer might be huge but I honestly don’t think I will make a decision based on money. All I can say is let’s wait and see what comes up in the future because it will be a great experience to play there someday before I call it quits.”
Appiah has also played for Italian sides Juventus, Brescia, Udinese, Parma and Bologna.
He also impressed at Turkish side Fenerbahce.
