Ghana and Olympique Marseille midfielder Andre Ayew has told his team mates to return from the break fully charged to keep their title chase on track as well as their Champions League effort.
“We must continue with this mindset, we have put in a lot of effort during these six months of competition, and played many matches, with more or less success,” the 21-year-old told the OM website.
“Now we are going to rest and come back with a lot of desire to really kick start our championship campaign. We are qualified in the Champions League and in the championship, we can focus on the points to be taken in the Ligue 1.”
Ayew has been useful to his side ever since he returned from loan just after the 2010 World Cup and has four goals to his credit.
