The National Youth Organizer of the Convention Peoples Party (CPP) James Kwabena Bomfeh aka Kabila has said the celebration of the 31st December Revolution is an illegality and needs to be condemned.According to him, the 31st December Revolution should not have happened because June 4th 1979 was to end all coup d’etat which led to the killing of Afrifa , Akuffo and Acheampong for allegedly mismanaging the economy and dabbling in politics.Speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen programme, Kabila questioned former President Rawlings motive of staging the 31st December Revolution because he was a beneficiary of the June 4th.“If we are to measure by he what happened after 31st December by the standards of June 4th, former President Rawlings should be a dead man by now”.He noted that “it is a test for President Mills; he needs to condemn the celebration by the party of which he is the leader”.“We must condemn 24th February 1966 coup, we must condemn 13th January 1972, we must condemn 31st December coup” he added.Adwoa Gyasiwaa/Myjoyonline.com/Ghana.
