Dismissed DCE for Abura-Asebu-Kwamankese in the Central Region says she is not worried President Mills has decided to give her the sack. Her removal was contained in a statement issued yesterday and signed by the Minister for Local Government. It did not assign reasons but directed her to properly handover to the Central Regional Minister.Aba Edusah is however unhappy the news was broken to her by Joy News.“I am not bothered, I am not worried. I am a teacher by profession I think I can get on as a teacher and if the need arises for me to be a politician I will just come in. I can contest as aN MP.“The fact that they’ve revoked my appointment as a DCE, it doesn’t mean I cannot carry out my political ambition.Ms. Edusah’s dismissal comes weeks after agitations by some assembly members and chiefs in the area for her removal over claims of poor working relations. But Local Government Minister Joseph Yieleh Chireh says her dismissal has nothing to do with those agitations. The chiefs who started the agitations are however excited at government’s action.Okupong Nana Foa the ninth, the Guantoahene of the Abura Traditional Area accused her of not conducting herself as a politician, saying her utterances alone was disappointing.Source: Joy News/Myjoyonline.com/Ghana
