The best governors placed close to 100 while the worst leaders scored close to 0 in the study which heavily rewarded consistency in leadership style. The report explained that an African leader who received high scores in one or two areas but low scores in the rest of the areas considered in the study ended with a dismal overall grade.A consistent score across the board, on the other hand, was needed to place any African leader in the best grade.
According to the study, leaders were assigned letter grades based on their score from 0 to 100, derived from six indices.Source: Daily Graphic
