Manchester City stars Kolo Toure and Emmanuel Adebayor have been involved in a training ground bust-up on the eve of the club’s huge match against Arsenal.
The former Gunners had to be separated by shocked team-mates Patrick Vieira, Vincent Kompany and six other players, the Daily Mirror reports.
While Toure is set to return from suspension to face his former employers, Adebayor is unlikely to feature after this incident, having already fallen out of favour at Eastlands, with talk of a loan move to Real Madrid in the transfer window.
But another public outburst will be a blow to Roberto Mancini - who has had to endure several similar occurrences this seasons - and now faces a selection headache with fresh injury concerns as playmaker David Silva and striker Mario Balotelli have already pulled out of the crunch game at the Emirates.
