The Ghana Football Association says it is yet to finalize a deal for the Black Stars to play England in an international friendly on 29 March in Wembley.
The GFA is still in talks with the England FA and a contract will be signed as soon as the two parties reach an agreement.
The friendly match would be the second assignment of the yet-to-be-named new Black Stars coach after the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Congo on March 27 in Brazzaville.
GFA Vice President Fred Pappoe told Joy Sports he is elated at the arrangements for the friendly against England.
He said the effort “was consistent with our principle of getting very good matches as training opportunities and exercises for the team.”
He prays England agree to the match as “we stand to gain a lot by way of exposure for our boys and the team as a whole. We feel very obliged and excited to engage in discussions with the authorities and their agents in order to get it finalized.”
