NDC youth in the Lower Manya Krobo district has warned that the party will suffer electoral defeat if the District Chief Executive for the area Isaac Agbo- Tetteh is not sacked.
According to them, the DCE's relationship with the constituents is not cordial and that the situation if not checked would cause disorganization in the party.
Speaking on Citi FM, the NDC Youth Organizer for the Lower Manya district, Frank Kojo Baah, accused the DCE of masterminding the arrest of some party executives in the area for opposing his style of leadership.
“We were there [when] the police arrested one executive member; the others followed and they arrested two of them, saying the DCE has lodged a complaint that we the executives are insulting him”.
He added that “this is not good for party organization because with party issues,it should be resolved internally and we take this one to be a strategy to intimidate us”.
Mr. Baah explained that “we don’t have a cordial relationship because after our constituency elections; he has vowed not to work with us. We have made a lot of petitions [and] nobody has listened to us”.
