The latest in NDC agitation against government appointees comes from the Amansie West District of the Ashanti Region where party supporters are calling for the removal of the District Chief Executive on corruption allegations.
They have given President Mills up to two weeks to sack Charles Oti-Prempeh, or they will quit the party.
The DCE is being accused, among others, of building a house for himself in Kumasi, within just 20 months of being in office.
His accusers will however show no evidence of where in Kumasi the alleged property is located, neither will they prove Mr. Oti-Prempeh used state money to build it, that is, if it really exists.
The NDC youth say they will make such information available after the expiration of their ultimatum to the President if he fails to act.
Other allegations against Mr. Oti-Prempeh include breach of tender procedure, extortion of money from people who are seeking recruitment into youth employment, creating division within the party and ignoring the views of party executives and opinion leaders in the district.
Spokesman for the agitated youth, Enoch Oppong Kyei, says the angry party supporters want Mr. Oti-Prempeh investigated after he is given a sack.
He says the DCE has publicly vowed to abandon all developmental projects initiated by the NPP administration.
The party supporters also threaten they would chase the DCE out of office if the President fails to heed their request.
