The Chief Executive Officer of Kumasi King Faisal, Vincent Sowah Odotei says he is not the troublesome person he is being ‘painted’ to look by the leadership of the Ghana Football Association.
According to him, it is highly out of place for anybody to give him a bad name and hang him for his outspokenness on soccer administration in the country.
He explained that always coming up with alternatives to administration matters of the GFA does not make him a problem child or antagonistic as some members of the GFA will want Ghanaians to believe.
Speaking on Asempa FM’s sports morning show, on a host of issues, he likened the leadership of the Ghana Football Association to that of an “Animal Farm” where the leaders imposed their views and opinions to their subjects without any objection.
“Some officials at the football association think they are more powerful than others and that their opinions stand supreme to no objection and since I always object to what I think is not right they make me look like a bad person in the eyes of the public which absolutely is not so”.
Mr. Odotei stated categorically that, he is not a traitor but the mere fact that he wants to get things done right makes the leadership of the football association paints him as a troublesome person.
Mr. Odotei who has been a strong critic of the GFA, reiterated his position that there are better ways to do most of the things the GFA has done, intimating that members of the GFA should take a second look at some of the processes by which they initiate projects and carry them through.
