The Black Meteors will move their preparations for the All African Games qualifier a step further with a test match against Accra Hearts of Oak on Sunday.
The game billed for the Ohene Djan Stadium, Accra, according to the Meteors Head Coach David Duncan is aimed at putting into practice some of the technicalities the team has gone through this week.
The Meteors have restricted this week to internal training where Coach Duncan has tasked his charges to put to practice what they have learnt over the times.
Sunday's duel will be one of the many dress rehearsals Duncan hopes to put his charges through as the team readies to meet Benin in the preliminary stage of the qualifiers.
Coach Duncan told GNA Sports on Wednesday that the stadium atmosphere was the exact platform the team will need in building its confidence among other things ahead of the qualifiers.
The Meteors will later play Liberty Professionals and the U-20 team, the Black Satellites on Wednesday and Sunday February 16 and 20 respectively.
There are 26 players currently in camp undergoing what coach Duncan calls observation aimed at fashioning out a good and resolute team.
He told GNA Sports "you cannot claim to have the finality of your team until you get into the first game."
The Meteors have scored thrice, not conceding in all three test games played so far.
