In less than one week, two high profile thefts have hit the camp of Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
Kotoko's plush Odeneho Kwadaso Secretariat now seems to have become the target of hoodlums in Kumasi.
Fresh reports emanating from the Porcupine Warriors' corridors indicate that thieves have broken into the club secretariat again on Tuesday night.
The on-the-run gangsters reportedly took away vital files containing the documents of some transferred players of the club in recent times.
A few days ago, management of the club realized that Samuel Inkoom's transfer documents to FC Basel of Switzerland were missing.
Ironically, the gate leading to the room was not tampered with, giving a clue that perhaps an insider had a hand in the deal.
Kotoko reported the matter to the police and four staff members at the secretariat were invited for questioning.
As the club was pondering over the mastermind(s) of the Inkoom stolen file, the club has uncovered another theft at the same secretariat.
In the second incident, sources say the hoodlums managed their way into the office by breaking a glass window.
A Kotoko insider hinted that just like the first Inkoom file incident, documents of transferred players like Eric Bekoe have been stolen.
Kotoko's Executive Director, Dr. K.K. Sarpong, after assuming office, vowed to lead a transparent administration.
The Kotoko Boss is also reported to have promised to make public all shady deals made by past administrations, which have contributed in draining Kotoko's coffers.
Since Dr. Sarpong's alleged statement, hoodlums have been ransacking the Kotoko offices and running away with documents of some transferred players for reasons best known to them.
