Members of the Monetary Policy Committee of the Bank of Ghana will this morning begin meeting to review the health of the economy.
The committee chaired by the Governor will be deliberating on some developments that have taken place in the economy since it last met in December last year.
However with January inflation having halted an 18-month free fall, after going up to 9.08 percent, with the likelihood it may rise further, analysts are of the view the Central Bank may maintain or probably increase the policy rate marginally.
This will be the first MPC meeting this year.
