Bernard Don Bortey is confident he still has 10 years of competitive football in him before he retires.
The 34-year old has been has been training with his former club Hearts of Oak, where he attained close to legendary status, with an eye of sealing a deal with the Phobians
His age has come under scrutiny with many fearing he could be past his prime but Don Borey believes he has more years in him.
”I am not weak and I want to tell those who feel I can’t play that I have 10 years more left to play football,” he said
“I will leave the people of Ghana and Hearts fans to judge my performance at the end of the day.
“Hearts made me who l am today so if things are not going the way the supporters want we need to come in and help.”
Don Bortey has won three Premier League titles with Hearts.
