Joy Business has gathered that teachers would most likely receive their March salaries from tomorrow.
This follows the correction of discrepancies identified when they were paid their single spine salaries in February.
Joy Business sources at the Controller and Accountant General’s Department say the salaries would include the retention premium, government promised earlier this year.
The salaries have been delayed because officials say they first needed to correct the discrepancies and also factor in the retention premium.
The Education Minister had earlier assured that the salaries were going to be paid on the 31st of March.
