Poetry Delight: On Death

Poetry Delight brings you a poem by Isaac Kwakye on the subject of death.

Death stares?
Death trolls?
Death stalks?
Then Death pounces?
To sweep us underneath
Piles of earth,
Or into urns or vases?

Or Death waits,
Tolls its bell,
And bides its time
Till the last granule
Slides down the hour glass?
Death punctuates the sentence(s) of our lives.

(Pondering the death of Tia Mathias B.)
