Following a successful launch of the outdoor market concept in September 2015 at Sakumono in Accra, Melon Concepts, promoters of Selewa Market followed it up with a street Garage sale at the Mensah Wood Avenue, East Legon in September 2016.
This was shortly followed by Selewa Pre-Xmas Sale dubbed Black Saturday sale in November 2016 at the Lizzys Sports Complex.
The market currently boasts of a rich vendor database of over 560 SME’s and Corporate clients.
The market is mainly patronized by people within the lower mid to high affluent in society - working class and students alike.
Selewa Market is recognized as the market or trade fair that offers the general public quality local and foreign brand at very affordable prices.
It provides the platform for both online shops and shops with a physical presence to know their customers making it a fertile platform for networking.
One unique characteristic of the market is the opportunities it provides to individuals to cash in on their unused household items like mower, hover, etc.
