The Nsawam Magistrate Court has remanded three suspects in the murder of one Douglas Anum Odoi at Ahodjo Ketewa near Nsawam in the Eastern Region, to reappear on June 29.
The suspects are Philip Odoi Feehi, 40; Michael Ashiagbor, 35 and Kofi Agyei.
Their pleas were not taken.
Prosecuting, Police Inspector Francis Acquaye told the court presided over by Madam Marianda William Barnnerman, that the accused persons were prime suspects in the murder of their relative.
Inspector Acquaye said at about 0930 hours on June 19, one Mensah and Okpoti Odoi, living at Ahodjo Ketewa informed the police that Douglas was lying dead in a bush near Ahodjo Junior High School around 0700 hours.
He said the police proceeded to the scene and found a deep cut on the right cheek of the deceased.
Inspector Acquaye said upon investigations the suspects were arrested on the same day and when a search was conducted on them three single barrel guns and some empty cartridges were found on them.Source: GNA
