Bimobas and Konkombas at Napkanduri in the Bunkpurugu Yunyoo district of the Northern region are reportedly taking cover following rumours of a possible clash between the two tribes over a parcel of land. The disputed land has been earmarked for a school project, but one faction is opposing the idea and this has resulted in tension in the area for the past three weeks.Bunkpurugu Yunyoo District Police Commander, ASP Michael Dzah, told Joy News that though rumours were rife, there was no sign of an imminent clash. He said the District Security Council will meet the Overlord of the land at Nalerigu to address the problem.Source: Joy News/Ghana
