Minority Members of Parliament (MPs) led by the first Deputy Minority Chief Whip has visited the Wenchi Methodist Snr. High School to sympathize with the school.
Ahmed Ibrahim together with Kintampo North MP, Etu Bonde; Kintampo South MP, Felicia Adjei as well as the constituency and regional executives of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to express their condolences to the bereaved families of the Kintampo waterfalls tragedy.
The Banda MP explained that the delegation visited the accident site on Tuesday to deduce the cause of the incident as well as visit the bereaved families who have lost their loved ones.

A total of 19 students largely from Wenchi Methodist senior high school (SHS) perished after a huge tree tumbled on them at the Kintampo Waterfall on Sunday.
At least 11 others suffered varying degrees of injuries and were sent to the Kintampo Municipal Hospital for treatment.
The delegation donated GH2,000 to the school to aid an impending surgery on the tutor whom according to the headmaster of the school, Foster Boateng, was part of the accident.
The teacher is said to be in critical condition and hospitalised at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH).

"KATH has requested for an amount of GH15,000 from the school within the shortest possible time to enable it to operate on the teacher else he will be paralyzed for life.
"We have been able to raise an amount of GH5,000 among the staff and we hoping that people will come to our aid to help our brother," Mr Boateng said thanking the delegation.
The delegation also met the student body to say some words of encouragement to them in their difficult moment.
