Peter Ofori-Quaye has been included in a list of eighteen players listed to play Ghana’s International Friendly Match against Australia on November 15 in London.The striker returns to the Black Stars after years of absence due to an injury ravaged career.Currently, Peter Ofori-Quaye is enjoying a run of fine form in Greece where he plays for OFI Crete after re-launching his career with Liberty Professionals last season.Also returning to the fold of the Stars is West Ham United Defender John Paintsil who just returned from an injury that kept him out of two Black Star’s International friendly matches.Conspicuously missing from the eighteen man squad are the Danish based pair of Razak Pimpong and Issah Ahmed as well as Hearts of Oak’s Dan Quaye who were part of the squad that played the Star’s last two international games in Asia.Junior Agogo and Derek Asamoah who play in England and were called up for the Asian tour retained their places in the team.The game against the Australians would be the third for new Black Stars coach, Claude Le Roy who guided the Black Stars to their Asian conquest where Ghana beat Japan and South Korea in two separate international friendly games this October.Full list of the 18
