Three lucky customers of Stanbic Bank have received their prizes in the first monthly draw of the Save to Gain Campaign.
Rita Rockson, the ultimate winner for the month walked away with GHS10,000 while Anyamesem Kusi, the first runner-up and Naana Nkrumah, second runner-up received a 32-inch LED TV and an iPhone 7 respectively.
The monthly draws will be carried out every month throughout the campaign period to give a chance to all depositors to be rewarded for their behavior change.
The Save to Gain Campaign is an initiative intended to encourage a savings culture among Ghanaians by making multiple deposits of GHC500 in their Pure Save account between April 3 and August 2, 2017. Customers stand a chance of winning a grand prize of GHC100, 000.
The campaign will also see depositors winning other goodies during the weekly draws. The five highest depositors in this campaign will win commemorative gold coins while several others will receive consolation prizes worth over GHC40, 000.
Nana Dwemoh Benneh urged existing and prospective customers to join in the campaign.
“Stanbic is a bank of values and we are committed to ensure a free and fair campaign,” he said.
“In order to ensure that there was no bias, the draw was subjected to rigorous checks by Caritas and National Lottery Authority (NLA).”
Head of Channels at Stanbic Bank Ghana, Eugene Ocansey said, “the message we are sending out is that everybody can and should save.
"At the end of the day, our focus is beyond the ultimate prize. Even though we have a very big prize, we want to see more Ghanaians saving at the end of the campaign period.”
