The flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party Nana Akufo-Addo has presented several food items and cash to the La Mantse as part of his support towards the Homowo celebrations.The party also paid a courtesy call on the fetish priest of La to intercede on their behalf to seek favour from the gods in next year’s elections.The donation was made on Nana Addo’s behalf by a member of his communications team, Daniel Nii Kwartei Titus Glover.Titus Glover told Joy News: “Since they are going to celebrate the Homowo, we need to go to the residence of the chief priest, and as unusual to seek for his blessings and guidance, because Nana Addo is seeking the mandate of the people of Ghana come December 2012.”The La Mantse Nii Kpobi Tettey-Tsuru III, thanked the NPP flagbearer and promised to ensure peace in his area during the 2012 general elections.
