Sporting Lisbon will be looking to atone for their surprise defeat by Vaslui last time out when they host FC Zurich in the Europa League, LIVE on Multi-TV tonight.The Portuguese side had already qualified for the knockout stages before they travelled to Romania but their run of 10 consecutive wins was brought to a dramatic end with a 1-0 loss.With qualification guaranteed, and their opponents bottom of Group D, Sporting will be looking to make a statement by finishing top.Thursday's game also gives them a chance to avenge their defeat by Benfica at the weekend in a game which saw a fire break out among Sporting fans with firefighters reportedly hindered as they attempted to put it out.Sporting president Godinho Lopes met the minister of home affairs Miguel Macedo after which he attempted to defuse the situation.He said: "Do not count on Sporting to create problems in a country that already has too many problems."Our main concern focuses on the game with Zurich and the situation in the country.''Sporting won the first meeting between the teams 2-0 on matchday one, although Zurich hit the woodwork three times.The visitors are without a win in their last six European fixtures, a run comprising two draws and four defeats, since they beat Standard Liege in the third qualifying round of the Champions League.They won 4-1 last time out against Lausanne Sports but it was only their fifth win in 15 games this season which sees them sitting third from bottom in the Swiss Super League.Coverage of Sporting Lisbon vs. FC Zurich begins at 7:35pm tonight on Joy Sports and Adom-TV on Multi-TV.
