Ghanaian boxer Joseph Agbeko is set to return to Ghana after failing to defeat Mexican Abner mares for the IBF bantamweight title.Abner Mares beat Joseph Agbeko by unanimous decision last Saturday night to retain his IBF bantamweight belt in a rematch of their controversial bout four months ago.Agbeko on his return will be keen to correct some bad publicity he has received lately following his second straight defeat to the Mexican. Some has attributed his loss to alleged superstition of wronging hearts of oak director Tommy Okine and alleged refusal of an arranged meeting with president Mills in the United States of America.Joseph Agbeko will be hoping to build upon his defeat to Mares as he returns to sort few issues out and focus on becoming a world champion.
