This weekend marks Arsenal's 125th anniversary, a landmark in the history of a great club, which was founded by a group of workers at the Dial Square workshop at the Royal Arsenal, an armaments factory in Woolwich. To mark the occasion, their modern-day home at the Emirates will be hosting a walk-past of some of the club's legends, and fans will be able to admire new statues of three men who helped shape the club: Herbert Chapman, the successful pre-war manager who was so far ahead of his time; Tony Adams, who captained the Gunners to a hatful of league titles and cup wins and bridged the George Graham-Arsene Wenger eras; and Thierry Henry, the club's record goalscorer. Van Persie has led the recent charge that has seen such a turn-around in Arsenal's fortunes. After losing four of their first seven Premier League matches, including a humiliating 8-2 mauling by Manchester United, Arsenal have won six of their last seven. The Toffees have had just one draw this season. TEAM NEWS Arsenal left-back Andre Santos is out for at least three weeks after injuring his ankle against Olympiakos.
