The National Disaster Management Organization, NADMO prepares to bury seven of the people who lost their lives in last Tuesday’s Senya Bereku accident.
This was after a meeting between the NADMO officials and bereaved families of persons who died in the accident.
NADMO is currently digging graves in preparation for a mass burial at the Senya Bereku cemetery.
Tufuhene of Sena Bereku, Neenyi Kwaw Bentum in an interview with Joy News said six families are ready to bury their dead relatives tomorrow whiles the remaining bodies would be buried on Saturday.
"At the moment, coffins are being prepared with the assistance of NADMO and the Member of Parliament of Winneba” he added.
Neenyi Kwaw Bentum said the mass burial is being carried out based on a directive by the Vice President John Mahama after visiting those who survived at the Winneba Government Hospital Wednesday.
