Accra: A group of Nigerians protesting what they say are deteriorating living conditions back home are convinced neighbours, Ghanaians, have a lot going for them.
For instance they point to ‘regular’ electricity and water supplies in Ghana and say the reverse holds true back in Nigeria.
And while they believe Hospitals in Nigeria are glorified mortuaries, Ghana has Quality and well subsidized health care system with one of the best equipped hospitals in Africa.
In Nigeria there is Alarming security situation in the face of Boko Haram killings and other insurgencies whereas Ghana has Security of lives and properties guaranteed.
Again there is Duplication of political portfolios. Examples are PA to PA, Special advisers to special adviser, Assistants to Senior special assistants. 15 cars in Ministers convoy in Nigeria, but in Ghana there are Fewer government officials, a Minister has only one PA and uses one car and motorbike to move around.
