Rapper E.L, born Elom Adablah, has parted ways with BBNZ Live, after years of working together. He has setup his own record label, VONation.
The rapper explained during the launch of his BAR 5 Concert in Accra on Tuesday that after having issues with BBNZ Live, he believes that moving forward was important.
While admitting that he has achieved a lot with BBNZ Live, he wanted “to be more independent and make my personal decisions,” and he felt he has evolved and “the change was necessary.”
His BAR 4 album “is going to be my first project that I am officially releasing under my new record label VONation.”
E.L is set to roll the fourth edition of his annual B.A.R (Best African Rapper) concert on November 25 at Alliance Française, Accra.
The event will also see E.L officially launch his B.A.R 4 Mixtape.
