The former manager of dancehall artiste Shatta Wale, Bulldog, says it will not be fair if rising star Ebony Reigns wins Artiste of the Year award at the next Ghana Music Awards.
He believes the 'Pride of the North' and reigning New Artist of the Year, Fancy Gadam, who recently repeated history with his concert at the Bukom Arena in Accra, deserves it more.
In a recent interview with Hitz FM, Fancy Gadam also spoke of his strong conviction that he deserves to pick the award because he meets all the criteria to pick the award next year.
Bull Dog who believes this is possible, told Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM, that the 'Total Cheat' singer deserves the award.
He argued that Fancy Gadam has been able to break the marginalisation of Northern-based artistes to make it big in the South with two great concerts and a hit song which features rapper Sarkodie.
"It will not be fair! How Fancy Gadam has broken through, I think he deserves to be the artiste of the year" he told Andy Dosty.
Fancy Gadam's event was attended by the Tourism Minister of Tourism, Catherine Afeku, who predicted her Ministry’s support for the likes of Fancy Gadam.
