Following a public poll conducted by Myjoyonline.com, five ministers have been named for sacking from the Akfufo-Addo government.
Two women - Special Development Initiative minister Hawa Koomson and Gender and Social Protection minister Otiko Djaba make the list.
Deputy Trades and Industry minister Carlos Ahenkorah, Defence Minister Dominic Nitiwul and Senior Minister Yaw Osafo Maafo complete the list.
The names were submitted in the first edition of the Myjoyonline Influence Award 2017, an online voting which attracted close to 4000 votes.
Hawa Koomson was roasted on social media after her 2018 budget revealed massively bloated items including a website to be built for 800,000 cedis.
Government has clarified this was a mistake. The correct figure was 80,000 cedis - a figure critics maintain was still bloated. The estimate is for three websites, not one, the government has claimed.
Not even Christmas festivities could overshadow discussions on the bloated budget for a minister who rarely made the news until the budget saga emerged.
Carlos Ahenkorah is at the center of a scandal involving the organisation of awards for expatriates in Ghana who have contributed to the economy.
It emerged sponsors of the event were asked to pay between $15,000 to $100,000 to sit close to the president at the awards dinner.
The Trades ministry collected money from sponsors in what has become known as the cash-for-seats scandal. The president has cleared his appointees at the ministry but the Minority want a bi-partisan probe.
Carlos Ahenkorah, a Tema West MP exacerbated the controversy after he verbally assaulted an NDC MP Okudzeto Ablakwa while he was granting an interview on the scandal.
He called him a thief but has since apologised twice.
Otiko Djaba, fiery and plain-speaking has been a target for the Minority NDC who opposed her nomination. She attracted bad press for the government after a war of words with NPP Northern regional chairman Bugri Naabu.
Defence minister Dominic Nitiwul was on the defensive after he claimed former President John Mahama has a property belonging to the Ghana Armed Forces, a claim which turned out to be false.
Senior minister Yaw Osafo Maafo role in the government is still seen as confusing. His budget was rejected by Parliament after the Minority claimed his ministry is an illegal entity within the government.
President Akufo-Addo could be doing his first reshuffle in a few weeks. Are they candidates for reshuffling or maybe a sack?
