The 2012 Presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and his family will join thousands of pilgrims in Jerusalem for this year’s Easter celebration.
Nana Addo and his family left Accra Wednesday night and are expected to be in Jerusalem for the entire duration of the Easter festivity, according to a statement issued by the NPP's communications directorate.
It said Nana Akufo-Addo wished Christians in Ghana and the world over, a happy Easter celebration, and urged them and all people of faith to be guided constantly by the principles for which Christ died for all humanity - compassion, love, peace and human solidarity.
The NPP leader and his family are expected in Ghana on Wednesday, 11th April, 2012.
