The Ga Dangbe Youth Association says it has been vindicated by the interim report on the fire which destroyed documents at the Lands Commission building last month.
The report by a 10-member committee comprising officials from the Fire Service and Lands and Natural Resources Ministry said the fire could have started by an arsonist.
The Ga-dangbe youth which is laying claim to some state lands had raised similar suspicions after the outbreak.
The National Organiser of the Ga-Dangbe Youth, Nii Yemo Yemofio told Joy News the association is meeting its lawyers to plan its next line of action.
He said they are vigilant and would not allow any government to take advantage of their lands and get richer.
“It is not only government officials that can take lands everywhere,” he stated adding the Ga-Dangbe people also deserve to own lands and build affordable houses for their people.
Meanwhile Lands and Natural Resources Minister Mike Hammah says his outfit is conferring with the British High Commission for copies of some state land documents destroyed by the fire.
Several thousands of files are said to have been burnt.
