The Chair and leader of the Convention People’s Party (CPP) Hon Samia Yaba Nkrumah has visited patients of the female ward of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, Accra to mark this year’s Easter.
She was accompanied by the 3rd National Vice Chairman of the party Mr K. Oteng-Anane, and the Party’s Director of Communication Nii Armah Akomfrah.
The CPP Leader spent time at the bedside of each of the 25 female patients of “Chenard A” Female Ward. She blessed and wished each of them a “get well soon” a “Happy Easter” and “Good luck for the future”.
Her presence at the ward brought cheer and happiness to the patients, with many wishing her well in return.
Samia Nkrumah thanked the nurses, porters and security men for the wonderful work and service they render within the Ghana’s Health Service.
The team was shown around the ward by the Principal Nursing Officer.
The good will and cheer spread to other medical officers outside the ward and to members of the public who wanted to share their concerns with the CPP Leader.
The CPP leader shared messages of hope during discussions with the general public after the visit.
