The Lepers Aid Committee has on behalf of the cured lepers in Ghana presented a large painting each to the managements of Golden Tulip Hotel and Labadi Beach Hotel both in Accra.
The presentations were to express the cured lepers’ profound gratitude to the two hotels for their continued support for activities of the lepers over the past ten years.
The large paintings, the works of one of the cured lepers, were presented by Rev. Fr. Andrew Campbell, Chairman of the Board of Trustees together with Madam Gladys Adobea, Prefect of the Weija Leprosarium and John the artist on behalf of the cured lepers in Ghana and its trustees at separate events.
Fr. Campbell praised the two institutions for always supporting the cured lepers and called on all Ghanaians and well wishers to support the upkeep of the less privileged and the neglected in society especially the cured lepers.
He also wished them well in their business endeavours.
Managements of the hotels were grateful for the show of appreciation and in turn promised their continued support.
At the Golden Tulip Hotel, management members present at the presentation included Mr. Sajid Khan, General Manager; Mrs. Aku Aryee, Human Resource Manager; Mr. Francis Deyegbe, Guest Services Manager; Mrs Bertha de Graft-Johnson, Sales and Marketing Manager and Mr. Mark Gaskin.
At the Labadi Beach hotel, the General Manager, Mr. Adrian Jandry received the painting on the behalf of the hotel.
