The holding company of UT Bank, UT Holdings plans listing on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange by 2015.
The Company has already established a non-bank financial institution in South Africa.
Chief Executive of UT holding, Prince Kofi Amoabeng disclosed to Joy Business when UT Bank took its turn at the Ghana Stock Exchange Facts behind the figures session on Tuesday.
UT Holdings is the parent company of UT Bank, UT Life Insurance, UT Properties and UT Debt Collections.
UT Bank’s profit before tax for 2011 shot up by 42 percent to 17 million Ghana cedis, non-funded income went up by 157 percent to 28 million, while loans and advances increased by 53 percent to 482 million Ghana cedis.
